Can someone recommend a good audio editing program for me? |
|
Here's the deal. I've got a number of karaoke audio files residing on my computer and I'd like to make a few MP3s for my SO for Valentine's Day with me singing. I assume it wouldn't be too difficult with the right software to combine the karaoke track with a track of me singing. Can anyone recommend a program that would allow me to do this that isn't terribly complicated?
I'm heading off on a 90 minute commute now and won't be back for a while, but I'll be back tonight and would greatly appreciate any advice offered. Thanks in advance.

Audacity is a free software, cross-platform digital audio editor and recording application. It is available for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and BSD. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audacityhttp://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Audacity_Wiki_Home_Page

Been using it for years on my portable recording setup. M-Audio 1010LT 8 input/output on a LANbox machine.
