Question about linking to text within the post & question about linking to book |
|
I'm writing a long(ish) post and one of the references I used is a book. I want to be able to use the <1> type format for that reference and to link it to the book title, etc (APA ref. style) at he end of the post. Is there a way to do that? (Please be really literal and as un-techie as possible!)
Also, more of a general question -- does anyone have feelings about how I link the book to sources outside DU? I can link to Amazon for a book purchase. The other alternative is a good online review I have that describes the book pretty well. I'm just not sure what's appropriate and accepted here.
TIA!!

1. For html in DU posts, you need to "Use [ ] instead of < >" |
|
Clink "HTML lookup table" for some basics
Most of us are internet savvy and can figure out how to buy a book we want, so I'd guess a link to "good online review" would be more appreciated than"link to Amazon" -- but I don't think there's a hard & fast rule here
