Firefox 4 problem, help please |
|
Okay, when I surf, I have always hit F11 to make my bars at the top collapse. I also make them autohide. I just like to have as much screen as possible dedicated to the site I'm on, I guess.
On FF4, F11 still collapses them and they still autohide. Thing is, I can't get them to drop down by moving the mouse up there the way I used to. I have to hit F11 again, pick a new tab, then hit F11 once more. Very annoying. I also can't figure out how to turn auto hide off anymore.
Any help is, as always, much appreciated.

1. What OS are you using? |
|
Under Windows 7... F11 enables full-screen browsing. When I move my mouse to the top of the window, the toolbar drops back down into view. Hitting F11 a second time restores the window to its restored state.
This sounds like the functionality you are describing.
Did you install any add-ins or grease monkey scripts that may be overriding default functionality?

and until today, my F11 worked exactly as you describe. No scripts, and no new add ons.
On edit: Figured it out. My beloved Colorful Tabs finally started working on FF4 yesterday. I just disabled it, and my functionality is back.
Poop.
