What is a reliable and easy to use e-mail archive system? |

I need something that I can download from webmail, and then archive to thumbdrive where I can retrieve it at will.

1. Not sure what you need, but you could use a free utility like 7Zip |
|
to set up an archieve folder to do that. Basically set up a folder and zip it, call it e-mail archive or something and drag/drop e-mail files into that folder? It would compress them as well for space reduction.

2. Use Outlook and backup your .PST/.OST files? |

Connect to your webmail via a POP3 or IMAP connection, but be sure to tell it to "leave email on server after reading" (setting something like that).
