I read that many websites are no longer supporting Real Player. Unfortunately can't remember the source or the context in which I read this.
Real player has been known for years as a less than ideal program, you can read a review here:

This will enable you to watch and listen to just about any media on the internet including Real, Quicktime and Windows Media formats easily, using the workhorse Media Player Classic. It does this by installing Real and Quicktime alternatives. Get it here:
