Anyone tried to turn off Google autocomplete?
They no longer give you the option to disable it, and it's really slowing my searches, so I found a way to get around it. I deleted my link and now use Google.com/m the mobile version. It doesn't have the autocomplete function......yet.

1. You can still disable it
But, like the venerable Mystery Meat navigation made famous by 'Web Pages that Suck', it's now a cryptic little symbol that your eyes flow over and do not really see.

On the black bar at the top of Google, go to the very right and there is a little wheel/cog symbol. That's where your find search options.
