How do I create a guest password for my wireless network (Windows 7) for i-phones & guest computers? |

I am a complete novice as far as wireless networks are concerned. I had an IT pro setup my home wireless network (Charter Communications cable broadband connection and a Linksys wireless router.) I have no problems connecting via my HP laptop (the IT guy set up the system for this computer.) However, my partner is having problems connecting to the network with his Apple laptop and his i-phone. He can connect to the main network, but when he logs on to his computer, the network option keeps switching to (my network name)-guest and we have to reset the settings to connect. How do I set up a password for guest users? (I have the network security key/pass phrase info for the admin/main user account.)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. :)
edit to add: My IT guy did not tell me how to set up guest user access nor did he set up a guest password (as far as I know.) I've explored the help menu and searched online for help but I've not yet been able to resolve my problems.

To clarify my previous post, we can connect the Mac laptop to the network but we have to specify the main/admin account each time we connect and it keeps defaulting to the (inacessible) guest account while we are online. My partner has not yet been able to connect via his (old 3G) i-Phone. (He is a neo-luddite computer novice so he is completely frustrated!) His computer is a Powerbook G4 running Mac OSX Version 10.5.8

3. Eureka! I found my guest password by clicking on Cisco Connect in my HP startup menu! |

The Apple laptop gave me that helpful clue when I tried to log on as a guest user.
I will have to try connecting the i-phone when my partner gets home. I may have more questions then but, hopefully, I've found my answers! (BTW, isn't this always how it happens? You start asking questions and then you find the answer/solution yourself!)
edit: We just got the Apple laptop, so I had not had to concern myself with access for any computer other than my own up until now.
