I have company using Iphone4s phones and a laptop w/windows....they can see my wifi connection and when they enter my password...it won't connect...
my system works fine (windows 7 on an HP laptop...netgear router)last new thing I used/added on my wifi was an E reader in Dec..still works fine..
last thing I did to my system (this year)was upgrade to new firefox...and might have changed something but...I cannot figure it out..
the phones and laptop work fine in an unsecured wifi connection on my list....mine will not let them in..so that tells me its my security settings....my other family members have accessed my wifi with no problems in the past
any ideas? it's making me nuts..

1. MAC addresses? Device passwords on laptops/phones same as router? |
|
Number of devices allowed to connect? Worst case, reset router and set it up again.
Isn't ITin' fun? Saying that, I have a Cisco router that works fine on the Cat5 side. On the wireless side I can see the other computers and everything works both ways, but at the same time, any wireless device will not connect to the Internet, even thought the wired side will.
Now that is nuts.
