Introducing Firefox with.....wait for it.... Bing! |

Introducing Firefox with Bing http://www.bing.com/community/site_blogs/b/search/archive/2011/10/26/bff.aspxFirefox partners with The Evil Empire http://www.zdnet.com/blog/networking/firefox-partners-with-the-evil-empire/1579...in a move that was as unthinkable as Bill Gates using an iPhone, or Linus Torvalds announcing MS-Linux, Mozilla, the company and non-profit open-source group behind the Firefox Web browser has gone over to the dark side… I mean partnered up with Microsoft to release a special version of Firefox with Bing as its default search engine.

2. One nice feature of Firefox is the search engine flexibility |

In the drop down box attached to the search field, you can load up dozens of various global search engines: Google, Bing, Bing+Google, etc and specialized search engines (dictionary, recipes, E-Bay, Amazon, etc). Firefox might be defaulting to Bing out of the box, but it takes all of 10 seconds to change it to whatever primary search engine you want to use. If Firefox is getting a better financial deal from MS to promote their default search engine, I'm fine with that.
