Free PDF editing software question |
|
I have PDF files of drawings (529). I need to pull out a few pictures only. Any ideas on free software available?
Thanks!

1. Much depends on how the pdfs were first created |
|
That is, can they be copied or edited.
You may have luck using the standard Acrobat reader - use the Select tool, click on images and if they highlight, you can copy/paste them into a standard picture editor such as Irfanview and save in whatever format you like.
Other approaches are to use the Window 7 clipping tool or take a screenshot.

3. You got a built in function that takes snapshots. |
|
Click on edit and select 'snapshot. Put your cursor at the left top corner of what you want to grab...hold the cursor button and move down to the lower right bottom...then release the button. Should flicker the screen. At this point, it is copied to your clipboard. I open up Paint and paste it in there to modify or paste in e-mails or Word/Excel documents.
