| my poor old dog is on my feet today. Rare thunderstorm in progress. |
|
He barks at cars and airplanes (we live rural) and the thunder is scaring him very much. He's a doofus, a big doofus, and I keep tripping on him. He won't eat a cookie even, too much scary noise.

My Murphy is afraid of thunder...he jumped up on the bed this morning and was shaking so much the bed was vibrating. I'm dreading the 4th of July...we live in a rural area here in PA, but it's also a popular vacation spot. Lots of fireworks.
Give your doggie a hug from me and a sympathy "Arf" from Cindy and Murphy.

I give him Rescue Remedy and bought him an Anxiety Wrap a while back. They seem to help a lot. Of course, he still tries to get under my bed..where only his head fits. http://www.rescueremedy.com/pets/Good for all pets and people too. It is available in any health food store. You do not have to buy the "PET" version. http://www.anxietywrap.com/

| 4. We've had a string of severe thunderstorms the last few days |
|
And five dogs - three big, two small.
Normally they all do their own thing, but with a thunderstorm right on top, it's really hard when all five are practically in your lap. They would follow me all around the house.
There are one or two that follow me anyway, but this was like having an entourage.
Oddly enough, this was the first year the fireworks didn't freak them out - they had gone through much worse with thunderstorms for four or five days straight.
But yes, during a storm, they're all at my feet, if not trying to climb on my lap.
