My Buddy is at the Emergency Hospital...

We don't know yet if he has stones or a mass, but he's a sick little guy. :(

I'm 100 miles away and very concerned. He's my baby, and if he doesn't make it, I will be devastated. I'm going home tomorrow, and I hope that they will let me see him.

Keep him in your thoughts, please.

I don't want to get into the details, but this was for the best, believe me. He is gone, as of a few hours ago. My brother got his collar for me, and we will each get a portion of his ashes. Buddy was the BEST dog I have ever known. So special, so loved, and so loving.

Remember the love and try to accept the pain as the price to be paid for loving and being loved so well. That's glib, maybe, but it's the way of things between canines and humans.

23. I'm real sad for you and Buddy

I had a dog named Buddy as well. He too died of cancer. It was so damn sad. I adopted another dog after he died and she was very sick and had to be put down not long after I got her.

No more heartbreaks for me. I have yet to adopt another dog and I'm thinking I probably never will.

I found a diary I wrote about Buddy before I had to have him put down. My god it was awful.

I just HATE cancer!!!
