  Scarlett
She showed more bravery and compassion than alot of humans. Maybe next time the earth will be ruled by our furry, feathered, scaled, etc. 2 and 4-footed friends. I think it would be a better place.

it's sad, but the more I know about humans the more appreciation I have for animals.
Scarlett was one amazing cat!

I followed this story closely as I'm a member of North Shore Animal League's Safehaven program (if something happens to me before the kitties go, they are going there). They do great work and they saved Scarlett and her kitties. She had a very good life with her adopted family and she will be missed by all.
