Briefly, they are photos of an injured swallow on a road, mortally wounded by a passing vehicle, attended by her partner; he tries to feed her, she soon dies, he tries to revive her, then stays by her side, mourning.

The photographer gave the images to a leading French newspaper for a song, and the paper was completely sold out that day. Some of you may have seen it.
