I have a 13 year old (approximately) cat who was lying on the bed while I was cleaning the bedroom. After patting him on the head, I sat with him and noticed that he kept shaking his head, not wild shaking, but like little tremors. I called the vet's office but it's closed. I'm going to call first thing tomorrow and see if I can get an appointment. This has me frightened.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

    | 2. After the vet suggested it, yes |

    | | His ears are clean. So far, no repeat of the tremors. I'm just going to watch him to see if it happens again. |

    | 4. That cat has an allergy to fleas |

    | | I learned it several years ago when he started moping around and hiding. He seemed to be miserable. I brought him to the vet who determined he was allergic to fleas. So if this guy had fleas, he'd exhibit a lot of other signs, as he did before. Thanks for the suggestion.
