Spoke with daughter recently, and she asked if I'd consider living near her after she marries. I said sure! THEN she said she and Ed want 3 dogs, Boxer, Airedale, and Bedlington, and are thinking of names for them! I worked on that a bit, and avoided suggesting that's a HUGE job, esp. since they hope to have kiddies too!!! I hope that reason will prevail! But maybe there IS a dog in my future! I'll take the Bedlington!

Marriage plans are in the ether, tho, that is, it WILL happen, but not for a while. They've both just begun graduate school.
Seen pics of our little red girl????

| 5. boxers and kids go together like peanut butter and jelly. |

i'd get that airdale first, and get the bugs worked out on it. all the terriers are great, but not for the faint of heart. big ones can be a real handful.

| 6. Been hearing about Airedales a bit; haven't had experience with one. |
|
Very smart, I hear. We had Boxer neighbor; first dog daughters met. Great experience. None of this will happen soon, mop, and I won't encourage speed. They've got to finish schools, marry, find place to live (she's looking at houses, of course, and knowing Amy, it won't be cheap!) Get jobs, get pregnant, etc., etc., etc., so there's lots of time! We had Bedlington, who settled in with neighbor Boxer very nicely. I really can't imagine thathow all this will work, but we can dream. Amy just had root of ?? cyst removed, and may be out of commission for some weeks.

| 7. a good boxer will get along well with other dogs. |
|
sad to say, tho, that they are getting way to popular. the more i see them around, the more naughty ones i see. we have one now that we rescued from the pound. she was about 2 at the time. she had a skinny back end and mobility problems then. we have had her for 4 years. turns out she has severe arthritis and spondylitis. at 2! i will always have a boxer, but i tell ya, the next one will be carefully sought out.
well, sounds like you have plenty of time to read up and check it out. so hard to do this stuff all in order, tho!!
