But I have a friend who takes in orphaned and injured wildlife and rehabilitates them and reintroduces them back to the wild. She is amazing...I just happened to be there when this little baby's mom was killed and called her.

What a little treasure you had there. Sorry for the circumstances but this little one was lucky you found her. I'm sure it was hard to let her go.

...that female fawns have theirs lined up in rows, and the males tend to be more random?
