| Has anyone used Symbiotics Colostrum to build up the immune system in your pets? |
|
I've got a 10 year old kitty with FIV. She does pretty well most of the time, but every 6-8 weeks, she goes downhill a bit. Tiny little girl...around 5 pounds. She has always been small. Rescued her from under a neighbor's deck.
Right now, she is battling ringworm. I have dipped her in the lime/sulfur once a week, and it seems to help the lesions. But, it takes so much out of her, I hate having to do that.
I have researched a bit on this product, and like what I am finding. Just need something to give her a boost, and keep her weight up.
Not looking for advice, just personal experience.
This may get locked, so PMs would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! :)

| 1. I have a client who gives it to her cats. She swears by it and she buys it from her Vet. |

I am never really sure about this stuff but according to my client it has help with everything from their stomach problems to their energy levels. They were both Pound Kittens and they were in pretty bad shape when I first saw them. Now? They look like super models. It's a combination of the right diet and supplements but who can tell which did what.

I have ordered some of the capsules. I hope it will help. Meanwhile, I am feeding her meat and fish treats, along with her regular food.
Since she is FIV+, I know I am just buying time. But; she is such a sweetie. She will own me as long as possible.

| 4. I have been giving kitty 1/4 teaspoon a day for 3 days now... |
|
She loves the taste. I mix it in a bit of water or milk. And there is a marked improvement. Her skin feels better, and she is awake more hours. I also have been feeding her some Fresh Pet Select, a new product, so that may have something to do with it also.
Anyway, I will be dipping her in the Sulfur Lime stuff again this weekend. Hopefully; this Colostrum will boost her immune system, and the dip will work better.
I have spent so much money on this little gal. I am not about to give up on her.
