Sad little chipmunk story

I was driving today and saw a chipmunk racing to get across the rode before my tires arrived, so I slowed down. S/he was dragging a limp, probably deceased family member, putting his/her own life at risk. Poor little things. I stopped to enable them to get safely across. Now, a few hours later, Forrest Gump is on TV, and do you remember how he carried out Lt. Dan and then his friend Bubba, trying to save their lives? It was a profoundly sad coincidence :-(.
