Anybody feeding their furkids "Snake River" brand gushyfud? |
|
Found some at my local thrift grocery, was IMPRESSED :wow: with the ingredients and brought a couple cans home on approval.
The resident descendents of Bast deigned to eat it, so I scored on a couple cases while the getting was good.
It's very SOLID for a gushyfud, and while the cats will eat it, they don't snarf it down as they do with some of the other stuff I've brought home (e.g.,"Temptations").
Between this, the Chicken Soup for the Cat-Lover's Soul in the free-feed station and the mice and bunnies I strongly suspect are going to 'the Cause', their coats are AMAZING. Even little Shimrod's dull fuzzy baby coat is beginning to take on a gloss (not to mention that if you turn your head really fast you can almost SEE him growing...:yoiks:).
Curious if anyone else is using this brand, and what their furkids think...
OMG. Wimsey is playing tag with Shimrod! Wimsey's bitching about it, but he's playing.:bounce:
Flopping down on one's side isn't Cat Body LanguageTM for "Go 'way, kid...ya bodder me!", is it?

1. I have never heard of it, but will look to see if I can find it. |
|
Although I have a seriously picky eater. But hell, I have spent what feels like millions of dollars on foods trying to find something he likes. What's another buck or two!
Glad that Shimrod is fitting in.

2. I tried a couple of cans |

when my kitty had pancreatitis and I was trying to get her to eat. I remember it being really solid but it had good ingredients in it. It wasn't a big hit with mine either, but they did eat it.
Shimrod is adorable BTW.
