Shout out to Conyers fans |
|
Here is a link to John's endorsement of Howard Dean for DNC chair. I thought some of you might be interested since he is such a big part of the discussion here. http://www.johnconyers.com/vertical/Sites/%7BEF00C507-612C-4BA3-84C0-446C97F7E413%7D/uploads/%7B129465FC-89BB-40F6-8365-DB3D130BBADB%7D.PDFThere is also a thread about this in GD polictics.

2. As a supporter of Dean during the primaries.... |
|
I'd love to see him as head of the DNC. He would bring a much-needed energy boost to the base.
Disclaimer though: Although I supported Dean through the primaries, Kerry grew on me with his intelligence and prudence. Boy, I wish we could merge the two of them together and get a SUPER DEM!

8. prediction: Dean will have the support of the people, but |
|
he won't get the job because the DNC leadership is a bunch of currupt losers just who care more about raising money than winning elections.

12. Even on this point... |
|
Dean and the emulation of Dean raised more money than any Democrat could have dreamed of 12 months ago. This was generally conceded at the southern leadership conference. If they torpedo him, they will have to do it for more "sophisticated" reasons.
Hey garybeck, as an aside to your avatar, how about linking hands around the white house and levitating that? If it worked once...
