http://www.wimp.com/napoleonhill/I had never heard of Napoleon Hill before. In case you haven't heard of him before either, here are some quotations of his. http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Napoleon_Hill

1. His was one of THE first books I read... |
|
that took me down a more "metaphysical" path.
"Think and Grow Rich." I read it when I was in my early 20's. I had read a lot of purely spiritual and religious books (always fascinated with religion, and the history of religion) in my youth, but that was the first book that triggered something within me to think about my own power...it was EMPOWERING.
If I recall correctly, it wasn't so much about making money (not if one's focus was about other "riches" of life), but it was about the power we have within.
Funny, his books and Zig Ziglar (who is pretty conservative though has the same "empowerment" mantra) are often lumped together, I've noticed through the years.
I discovered just two years ago that I'm related to Zig Ziglar...third cousins. Go figure.

Amarillo TX, I worked in a health club (1978.) They took me to see Zig. They were in love with him. It was an interesting experience.

3. They based most of the Secret on him.. |
|
so in a sense, they were just repackaging his teachings. I have his book on PDF somewhere...

4. Thanks for the reminder, IHAD!!! |

Months ago - over a year ago, I just checked - I was watching an infomercial of this guy talking about Napoleon Hill, basically hawking his books, and I taped it for future reference and then checked on line to find the books are freely available.
Thanks very much for the videos, they're priceless. So much better to hear him speak before making a purchase or downloading a ton.
