I remember a passage from one of Richard Bach's books wherein he said he realized their cat was a reincarnation of their last one. Love this concept. :)

It was great, and very entertaining--she had such specific messages from the animals for their owners. Definitely sounded like, in her experience, pets do go to the Other Side, and so could definitely reincarnate.

A little OT, but for the first time ever, I am experiencing what I believe to be the spirit of a cat who has died. I have no idea what kind of cat it is (no kitties have died in the house I'm living in since I've been here.) But I felt what I thought for sure was a cat jump on my bed a couple of nights ago, only to look up and see no kitty. And there's a constant "phantom scratching" sound in our laundry room, like a cat trying to open the door, but each time I go to check it out no cat. Very weird. Ghosts normally don't interact with me, so I don't know what's up.
