| The latest to benefit from my progressed Moon in Pisces is... |
|
Edited on Sun Jun-12-11 04:20 AM by BlueIris
an injured pigeon named Walter. I found him on the street Friday night, unable to fly but alive. He rode home in a box in my trunk and slept in my guest bedroom last night, then I put him in a dog carrier in the garage. None of the animal rescue groups in our area will take pigeons as they are considered a "nuisance bird." (Awful.) I had a (human) doctor look at him, and he said his wings are not broken, but the shoulder of one wing is kind of...knawed on. I'm going to try to send him back into the wild tomorrow or Monday, as he is pretty active and otherwise unhurt aside from the bite.
I just saw him on the street and could not leave him. This is so unlike me. I won't miss this progressed Moon, let me tell you.

I'm a bit programmed against pidgeons, even though I generally like birds and definitely like to photograph them. So, once I was in the park, and the light was really good, and a pidgeon landed next to me. I snapped a photo, and when I looked back at the photo, I realized what a beautiful bird it really is. There is a rainbow of color in pidgeons. I look at them differently now. However, I don't remember any progressed Moon experiences with pidgeons, LOL. Naming the pidgeon Walter may not have happened at another time??? That's funny. Wonderful that we can learn different aspects of ourselves as we travel through the universe.

| 2. Update: I returned the pigeon to the wild today. |

More specifically, a city park. He would not eat, drink, or sleep in our garage, and actually seemed okay when I set him loose, so I think he'll be alright. I put him near some picnic tables and he scurried away. Good luck, Walter.

| 3. BI, I respectfully disagree with your description of how you've operated in the past. |

I remember you agonizing over some of your companion animals being lost, etc. I think that you have a more tender heart than you think, even without the progressed moon in Pisces. You've always had a soft spot for animals.
