After my last birthday, I noticed that for a couple of years, I just hadn't "felt" much about moving into a new year of my life. I was wondering if I would feel anything this time. Wasn't really expecting to.
But things are...different now. I can feel it. Things are moving forward again. This year actually seems like I might start making some progress on my long term creative projects, and in life management, including spiritual awareness, generally.
Wish me luck, A, S & AHers!

Youngin' LOL. I'm hoping 47 won't be too bad when I hit it next month.
At 28 I had a drastic change in my entire life outlook, and then at around 32-33 had a real "settling in", when I look back on it. It seems that I settled into a lot of things that have proved to be long term in my life like a workplace with benefits and my significant other. I had a wonderful psychic tell me I would experience a lot of spiritual awakening at 45 and I'm still sorting that time period out because my Dad passed and I got a pet (finally); and did have two (what I consider) spiritual experiences on the day Dad passed.
Sorry to ramble in your thread. Here's to your new point in life! :toast:

I'm doubled you this year and it is a difficult one. I am concerned about some decisions and hope I haven't dragged my beloved and myself to hell. Sorry that was really off topic. Happy Birthday and may this be the best year yet!

my life internally. I did have outer turmoil, jobs, money problems, family problems and such, but within myself I was in good shape, good health, physically and spiritually. I hope your thirties are your best too.
Happy birthday!

11. 40's.................... |
|
That was my best decade. I looked the best ( chipmunk cheeks finally resolved into the cheekbone/concave look, free lance jobs were plentiful, and I was working efficiently. 70's is setting off not too bad either.........except for the externals................( economyt inflation, static SS income.....) but philosophically it may win the prize. Hang in there and keep evolving!

12. Have a wonderful year! And many more wonderful |

years!
Of course, from the heights of age 62 (63 in August), you seem charmingly young.
For me, the best part about menopause was that my complexion FINALLY cleared up.
