Remember how I was so upset about my two stray kitties 'leaving'? |
|
They were both males, btw.
Well, about two weeks after that, my normally reclusive indoor baby girl kitty Piper decided to be an escape artist and get preggers.
She soon was delivered (almost a month ago now) of: two, healthy & strong baby boy kittens; who are now playing around my feet as I type.
Coincidence? I think not! :)

1. Oh, that's something... |

Again, I'm so sorry for your loss, lildreamer. :(
It will be interesting to see if you notice similarities between those who have left and those who have come.

But do consider getting all of them neutered now.

8. I already started a small savings pile |
|
just for that. The local spay-neuter clinic is not that expensive, but still for us, every penny counts atm. As soon as they are weaned I should be able to afford to get mom spayed.

10. Check to see if spay/neuter programs are available in your area |
|
We'd never have been able to afford getting all our lady cats spayed without the local SNYP program. They provide special vouchers that let you get the operations done for cost with participating veterinarians. I (and our cats) can't say enough good things about it. :)
The programs vary by area, though. We're around the Dallas/Fort Worth region; not sure off hand if there's anything similar everywhere else in the nation.
