My son got engaged tonight! |
|
They called from New Hampshire, where they are vacationing.
They got engaged on top of Mt. Washington, home to some of the country's most erratic weather. Her family lives in the area. He has always been interested in weather.
They have not set a date. I am happy that they are getting married.

Also sounds like something my grandson might do in a couple of decades. He sat in my lap for an hour the other day watching YouTube videos of tornados.

13. My son was a local weather watcher for a TV station |
|
in our area, starting when he was eight years old. He and the meteorologist are still friends.
He works at Fermi Lab now, in Northern Illinois, but he is a trained storm chaser. He goes on a couple of trips a year. His interest in weather has never gone away.
Meteorology is a difficult, but interesting, field. I hope your grandson finds a way to get involved as soon as he is old enough. Local TV stations are a good way to begin.
