Some thoughts on...metals. |
|
Edited on Tue Aug-16-11 04:36 PM by BlueIris
I recently started using homeopathy for heavy metal detox. Specifically, the Liddel Metals detox (oral spray.) It just seemed like a good idea, for various reasons, but the herbal cleanses for getting rid of metals did not so I went the homeopathic route.
Firstly, it's an interesting experience. It really does feel like some kind of energy is leaving my body, mostly around the head and neck area. This, despite the fact that homeopathy has been remarkably less effective for me the last year or so (something I have found very frustrating.)
So, after a couple of days of this, I decided to do a mini-meditation on which metals this product was helping me to get rid of. What came to me was that the cleanse was primarily getting rid of aluminum, mercury and radium. Yikes! Even more interesting were the places I was supposedly exposed to these metals. My intuition (via pendulum) claims that the bulk of my aluminum exposure occurred through pipes, (don't know if this means pipes in my homes, or workplaces I've been in) mercury exposure through use of commercial deoderants, and radium through my water supply.
I really my intuition is not a medical doctor, laboratory analysis or scientific proof of anything, but I find these impression (and the cleanse experience itself) very interesting. I can also now highly recommend the Liddel people, who are kind enough to use organic alcohol in their homeopathic products.

4. ah, that is interesting |

The intuitive stuff (pendulum) is both fun and frustrating. It can lead you to some huge insights that you wouldn't get any other way (for sure) but it can lead you astray at times too. I think it is about keeping us on our toes!
I can't say that I have had much luck with homeopathy but I haven't tried it consistently enough to know. Always a good idea to rid oneself of mercury, aluminum and radium! Glad you like the product, and thank you for posting your experience.

5. Another interesting benefit... |
|
I've had an irritating cough these last several weeks. I have not been sick, so I was chocking it up to an overabundance of dairy, maybe allergies.
After two days of using the metal detox stuff it has significantly improved. I find this odd, and it's possible it's just a coincidence, as there is nothing in the product designed to promote respiratory health. The pendulum claims the improvement is the result of the mercury detoxifying ingredient in the spray. Which, again, odd.

Once I had a horrible cough, due to overexposure to chlorine in an indoor pool type area. A month later I was still practically gagging 24/7. My husband was begging me to go to the doctor, which I knew would do no good. I ended up buying some absurd sounding herbal product called Clear Lungs. I took exactly ONE dose of Clear Lungs and my cough disappeared. It had to have been acting in a homeopathic way. I have taken Clear Luncs since then for more normal coughs and have had nothing so miraculous happen..........basically I just had to wait it out anyway.
My take from all of this is that sometimes coughs can have an energetic origin, and can be easily treated by homeopathy or other energetic protocol, but sometimes it is more "tincture of patience and essence of time."
Pretty cool.

6. I wish more companies would use glycerin as their product base. |
|
Manufacturers and sellers cannot believe me when I tell the truth-- the amount of alcohol in their products, used as directed (diluted), produces in me unmistakable alcoholic thoughts and cravings. Yes, that little amount. I've emailed a couple of companies on this to no avail. Even after leaving the product open for three days to evaporate out as much alcohol as possible.
Glad it works for some folks.

8. Some products alcohol free |
|
Fortunately for me, the co-op where I shop suddenly started carrying some liquid herbal products that are alcohol-free, but those are few and far between.
