Portland did it! PEACEFUL SOLIDARITY |
|
I went to bed at 3am, hoping there would remain a big enough crowd through the night to keep the police from being able to act. I came back this morning, and they DID it!
So a city occupy managed to have up to 10,000 people stand in solidarity in PEACE and CALM and be loving towards the cops and just stand their ground?! pretty awesome.
Is this a sign that we are turning a corner here? is the movement going to gain more and more traction as it reveals that the numbers are in our favor?

is that as i am sleeping at such odd hours recovering from surgery, i have been having dream about massive movements, like people marching across the country, long distances, large groups...
i've been helping in my dreams, organizing times for different religions to talk, helping lay out food on the trays and take them to the ones at the front of the march, etc... wonder if i am just 'there in spirit' or if i am seeing something different?

4. Portland is an Aquarian city (birthday Feb 14.) But FirstLight, you're supposed to be resting. |

I am really having issues in GD today. Several threads regarding Obama's LACK of comment on the actions were locked or moved to the 9/11 dungeon... like someone HERE at DU is worried we are being watched by the Feds?
Serious question: If the mayor of Oakland ADMITS openly that 18 cities coordinated take-downs of OWS sites this weekend, followed by the attack (yes i call it an attack when police storm the space at 1am) on the main camp in NYC today...tell me that doesn't seem fishy or like a dept of homeland security maneuver? Then, point out the hypocrisy of our POTUS and Secretary of state who go and publicly denounce Libya or Egypt at the first sign of violence...but they don't say a freaking WORD about the violence at OWS... when a 24 yr old Afganistan VET is brain damaged, and members of the press were arrested and pepper sprayed last night... wtf?
I am really feeling like things are unraveling right before our eyes....
