I eat a lot of it, and it's soooo easy to grow.
Just stick single cloves about 2" deep into some tilled soil and leave it alone. Comes up in spring and are harvested when their green tops dry out. No skill or maintenance required.
Other easy ones are potatoes and onions.
BTW, this is posted for the 'non-gardeners'. Not for the experienced or serious ones. Just something easy to do that is pretty much guaranteed to be a success.
