http://www.victoryseeds.com/frost/I'm working the soil in my planters, refreshing them with compost. Chard, lettuce, and Basil I will start indoors.

Not much of a growing season, lol. And we HAVE been known to experience an occasional frost over the course of those 34 days, as well. Those dates are from the airport, about 10 miles to the east, on the other side of the river. The closest town to the south gets a whole 7 days: 7/28 -8/4.
When the ground finishes thawing, I'll finish leveling it for the raised beds I'm building, and then begin filling them with compost. It's been snowing lightly, and mostly melting off, on and off for the last week, with a more serious snowstorm predicted for tomorrow.
