| Help - White Icicle Radishes |
|
Hi, The package of seeds says ready in 27 days. I planted them on March 21. The plants are about 3 inches high, I pulled one of the taller ones yesterday and the "radish" was about the size of a toothpick. Does anyone have any advice as to how tall the plants should be before I can actually harvest a radish?
Peace

Seeings you are in midwest, don't panic yet. Here in nw WA, I've had my "30 day" early radishes take months. You can eat the greens, chopped up for spicy bits in salads too. Good luck there though.

Hi, Thanks, I pulled one tonight and still was nothing more than a thick toothpick. Oh well, live and learn. I hope I can at least pull a few at some point! I was able to harvest some leaf lettuce the other night which was fun. On to tomatoes, which I never have a problem with!
Peace
