1. I just saw a film clip (maybe part of the White House tour on NBC)

where two of the chefs went out to the garden and were "harvesting" a lot of greens for a salad that night...pretty cool, imo!

I'm so very glad that the Obama's planted/allowed this garden to be planted. It sets a beautiful example.

And just like watching each others posts here on the DU, its fun to see how the White House garden is "coming along" and how it's being used. :-)

I've been so excited over the fact that they actually did this. But, man, that is one long ass walk out to the garden and back to the kitchen. LOL
