I've got two tomatoes that will be ripe for picking in a few days - FINALLY! |
|
It's been a cool/overcast summer this year. I'm grateful that I haven't had to turn on the A/C very often (twice only) this summer so far, but d*mn....not enough sun has made my garden very very slow to produce this year.

I hope you end up with many, many more. We've had too much heat and little rain so we've picked many of our well-formed and sized ones to ripen on the window sill inside. Better than letting them rot or get eaten out on the vine before they turn red.

2. Our chili pepper plants are about three inches taller than when we planted them on Memorial Day |

Our tomatoes are growing slowly. Spaghetti squash plants died. I don't know what happened.
Been a great year for lettuce, though.

3 feet tall as opposed to 5 feet by this time in the season. Beans are growing and I have one lonely flower on my one squash plant that survuved. Not a banner year in the garden!
