When was the last time you got a tetanus shot?

Years ago, I slashed a finger open on a piece of buried glass. I now wear gloves in the garden and keep my tetanus up to date.

1. About 3 years ago.

I was in for my regular blood work and mentioned gardening to the Doc. Since I hadn't had a tetanus shot in a few years he gave me one right away.

Was in for yearly check-up. It had been over 10 years since I had one.

3. oh I guess about 10-15 years ago...

I was supposed to get one for school about 6 years ago but my doctors office was out.. Something to the effect of there was only one major manufacturer of tetanus vacc and they were out, or had a bad batch, or something... I remember I ended up getting a waiver from my doc to file with school...


Thanks for the reminding me to get one next time I goto the doctor...

4. When I tripped over a speed bump, broke my arm and cut my face.

5. About 6 years ago, after a riding accident.

I got them more regularly as a kid. I was always barefoot, and had fairly regular puncture wounds.
