so I go to the feed store, the home improvement store and the 'nursery' looking for some vegetable babies to get in the ground now that the weather's turned nice.
zilch, zip, nada except for some onion slips. not even any of our famous pepper plants.
Why? I asked.
"We don't order em in anymore now that Walmart sells em. We can't compete in price"
:banghead:
I don't won't DON'T shop at Walmart, so say a prayer for my seeds y'all.

We have a handful of great feed and seeds close to home as well as the gargantuan Wal-Mart down the highway and the lil guys can't keep their plants in stock. Last week, you could hardly get in the parking lot, people were buying plants as they came off the delivery truck. I shop around and it is true you get what you pay for. The stuff at Wal-Mart is quantitative, not qualitative and the lil Mom and Pop up the road buys local. Actually, I guess you really didn't want to hear all this.
