I ate my first Cherokee Purple tomato yesterday.

Man was it good. I had it sliced up on a plate along with a small raw zucchini. I drizzled them with extra virgin olive oil from Spain and put a little Kosher salt on them too. That was my salad.

I'm still a few weeks away from that pleasure. Have to make do with the cherry tomatoes and Early Girls.
I love Cherokee Purples.
