| 2. winter? i don't do winters anymore. |
|
i had my fill of winters up in chicago for the first 28 years of my life. i moved south and decided to never do winters again. now i'm way south and i forgot what winter even looks like. which is good, because i never much cared for it.
so, i'm "gardening" year round. if you're having a winter, you can still garden indoors!

Although I'm like Gato, I garden through the winter. My winter crops are different and we use coldframes to protect against overnight frost but it's always above freezing during the day here. My citrus trees don't produce ripe fruit until the winter. Always something to tend and harvest out there.

If it squirts you in the eye it's ready to eat.
Maybe we can discuss houseplants this winter. I have an 8-foot weeping fig (ficus) I'm trying to find a new home for. It's just too big for the house anymore.
