| My baby bean sprouts are getting munched. |
|
I am not sure what is eating them, but they are pretty far gone. I am going to replant. If I spritz the new sprouts with a soapy water mixture, will that help? Is there a particular type of soap that works best? Any other recommendations?
On the plus side, my carrot sprouts got et last time, but the new group seems to be doing well :)

I started sprinkling regular black pepper on the leaves. That did the trick. This year they didn't even take a nibble and I haven't used any pepper, either. Don't think it would hurt to try on veggies. As long as you don't have, like, an acre or so!

The surviving shoots have leaves with little holes in them. Aphids maybe?
