ok....i just bought my first pair of golden pheasants!

i'm just finishing off the coop now and i'll pick them up tomorrow.

i bought the yellow mutation, also called a ghigi. here's what the rooster looks like:



my next pair will be the normal golden pheasant...the rooster looks like this:

1. Wow! Those are some beautiful yardbirds, GM!

What's there temperment like? Are they warm & friendly,
or distant and territorial?

2. some pheasants can be quite aggressive......

...especially silver pheasants.

but from everything i've seen of goldens, they're pretty laid back.
