I love avacados, and I've been thinking about putting one in. Right now I have room for 3 or 4 small fruit trees.

2. I got one tree a few months back, not knowing about the strange way

that avocado flowers pollinate. I was looking everywhere for info on whether self-pollination would be possible. Finally I find the info on this site. There is not a huge yield with only one tree, but supposedly for home purposes, I shouldn't have a problem.

I still do have one other question I haven't found an answer to yet... I think I have branches from the rootstock plant and the grafted plant, and I am wondering if either both would flower based on their specific genetics, or if it is better to cut back the rootstock plant once the grafted plant is flourishing. If I don't find the answer soon, I am going to try sending my question to them.
