Got it Thursday. Looks great. Sounds great. Waaaaaaaay too short. And because it's so linear, replayability is minimal. My advice is to wait until it hits bargain bin.

I'm getting it from Gamefly sometime this week. It looks pretty short, and I've heard the multiplayer is pretty weak, so I decided to rent before purchasing.

I've only had time to play it for about an hour or so, so here's my mini-review:

I love it.

The presentation is beautiful. The graphics are a bit smooth and shiny, but there is hardly any slow-down even when the action gets heavy. The sound is top-notch, ver faithful to the SW universe, and the squad's chatter is well-written and acted.

The gameplay is great. The controls could be tightened up a bit, but they're not too shabby. The action is balls-out; there's hardly time to catch your breath. However, it does seem like it could get repetitive. We'll see how it plays out.

Multiplayer is definitely a weak point. It looks like it was tacked on just because it could be.

I'm a cheap bastard, so I'll probably just keep the disc until the price gets close to $30, and then buy it. (right now it's $37.99)

3. Good comments

I agree with all of them about presentation and gameplay--although any FPS that doesn't give you the option of leaning left or right, or going prone is behind the times...Maybe I'm just CoD spoiled.

The killer for me is the length, or lack thereof. But you'll find that out soon enough. ;)
