Of course you can buy them cheap from retailers but I bought mine new for I think $200 at the time.
Back in the day where games were actually games and not just random KILLEMALL games. I remember wasting a whole weekend playing through Super Mario World. Or we'd get the group together and play Mario Kart or F-Zero til the sun went down. To this day I haven't beaten Super Metroid the world is so massive. Super Punch Out was one of my all time faves. Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past was the ultimate though.

And playing it single player was just too boring. It was too easy to beat.

Probably because they never grew up around them and don't understand them. They hear the beeps and boops and just call it annoying. Oh well. Speaking of the old NES. Not a day went by where I didn't spend at least 6 hours playing Blades of Steel.

Also, I played Street Fighter II Championship Edition like everynight for like two years straight with my friends.
The first 4 I listed in the title, I played on ZSNES on my PC.
Oops, and how can I forget Dragon Quest 6...that was a great game.
