| Freedom Force Vs. the Third Riech (Freedom Force 2) |
|
Blitzkrieg, a nazi, screws up the timeline using Timemaster's powers and helps the Third Riech win WWII. Now its up to Freedom Force to go back 20 years and stop him!
There are few things I find more fun then killing nazis. But killing nazis with a super hero (I made) named The Hebrew Hammer brings me nothing but joy.
While there isn't much of an update to the engine, playing online has gotten a lot better since the FF1 days. Balanced abilities and a "prestige" cap of 6k makes creating super heroes for online games a great bit of fun.
Chalk up another great comic book adventure for 1963.

But I haven't started playing yet, due to playing through Knights of the Old Republic II. The first Freedom Force was one of my favorite games ever. I thought it was a perfect representation of the silver age of comics, and I liked the idea that just about anything in the game could be picked up and used as a weapon. Most of all though, I liked using all the fan-created Marvel and DC heroes in the game. Call it cheap, but the second time through, it was a lot more fun to play using a team of El Diablo, Superman, Iron Man, and the Silver Surfer. I haven't had much luck finding skins and meshes for the new game yet, though. Anyone else?

And I'm sure you'll be glad you got practice with El Diablo- I used him a lot in this game.
