1. I Love This Game!

I never did beat it though, not being able to get past the Soviet mission where you have to drive the tank through German territory. Still,I'm amazed by the visual and,most of all,the sound effects of this game. I was thinking about buying the United Offensive expansion,so if anybody could tell me if it's worth it, that would be great.

I never did play single player though.
I'm on multiplayer...

3. Definately worth it

The new multi-player modes are terrific, especially 'base,' which gives each team three bunkers to defend. Enemy bunkers can only be destroyed by multiple shots from tanks or from satchel charges and then by placing dynamite in the base (similar to counter-strike).

The single-player missions are also terrific and, thanks to the addition of drivable tanks and missions in which you play a gunner on a bomber and a boat, have a fresh feel to them.

I highly recommend the expansion.

6. Hey, I think I've seen you SSF...

...when I used to run around on the east coast servers. Probably even took a couple of potshots at you too. Anyway, glad to see a familiar name being here too... If you're ever on any of the west coast servers or the sniper ones (like OSL) you'll see me "GrryDU"

7. Oh I had a blast in the Tank part.

The apartment complex in the Russian part was a nightmare. I cursed for hours til I got through it.

This and the UO expansion are my favorite FPS games at the moment. Can't wait for the CoD2. Anyway, I'm mostly on the MP games now. You'll catch me either on some of the sniper mods or on that Chicago brawl servers (60 players) - look for GrryDU, I'm usually the one getting blasted away. lol. See you all out there sometime.
