Problem with my PS2

It's less than a year old, so I'm under warranty, and I'm working with Sony, but...

Has anyone had an issue where their controllers just stopped doing rumble/vibrate? Works across all games, too.

My daughter borrowed the PS2, as she does 2/3 times a week, to play DDR (involves setting it up in her room, no big deal). But this time, when I set it back up in the living room, no rumble feature.

I also have been known to use these controllers sold at Gamestop that are clear plastic and light up. I don't care about the lights, but the controllers are great. The handles are longer and more comfortable, and the L2/R2 buttons are on the handles in a trigger position. Those don't light up, either.

All other functionality works fine. The red light showing the controller is on is working fine. I think it's a power issue of some sort, power or signal isn't coming back to the controller.

I miss my Tiger Woods Golf. I was just getting really good at it.
