I thought the kid was talking about how in MMORPGS (or other games, I suppose) if your side is desperately outnumbered and everyone gangs up on you. Not actual "gang rape" just a metaphor.
I don't like talking about games in general discussion because people take things too literally over there.
Anyway, I was thinking it was just a metaphor of being rushed by an overwhelming enemy with no chance to survive.
Edit to say I'll post this over there too.

I'm well familiar with the usage. I took the statement in the context it was given, and thought about a MMORG I heard about news report on that included literal rape.
