hi guys, I'm getting an xbox 360 for my eight year old this xmas...
any suggestions on games/equipment?

he's already playing halo and diablo on his pc, so idealized violence is not a problem

3. Get Halo 2, and get Halo 3 next year
IMO, Halo 2 (XBOX 1 title) is still the funnest online game, including xbox 36 titles.

4. I'd say Call of Duty 2 is a good one to start with.
If language and gore is not a problem, Gears of War is amazing. Again with the language, Prey was a lot of fun, too. I'm an Oblivion junkie, but if your son doesn't show any interest in fantasy games, then stick with the shooters.

He'd probably like Quake IV as well.
