Um... it sounds like you either have some kind of trojan or virus on your system, -or- there is some bloatware added by the manufacturer of your system which got corrupted in some strange way.
My HP computer had about 3GB of Wild Tangent stuff on it when I got it home. Thing is, I own about 4 of their games, but this package included demos of practically EVERYTHING they ever put out. Huge waste of space. Could be you have a Sierra Online thing and somehow the files got messed up or something?
Try a complete virus and spyware check if you haven't already. Other than that I don't know what could be the problem.

I have a Sierra On Line folder at 3.10MB, and a Sierra folder with 8.06GB FEAR,etc.
Where did you find this? in Control Panel/Add/Delete Program? Or Windows Explorer? You may need the disk for Half Life to delete or uninstall it. Give us more info.
