What? No WoW fans?

I just defected from EQ to World of Warcraft. I'm loving it! Any other WoW fans out there? Shoot me a tell; Borazon on Kilrogg Pacific.

1. I've hardly been here I've been playing WOW so much.

I'm on Eastern Server Shadow Moon. It's the most addictive game that I have played in years.

I can see why it might not be up there yet. I've read that it's sales have been VERY good. I've also read very good reviews of it.
I generally don't like multi-player games and have been somewhat resentful at the focus on them. I may try this one, though.

3. It's worth a try

I've played Asheron Call and Ultima Online in the past, but got burnt out and not played online in a few years. I am now addicted again. It has a really innovative approach to PvP, questing, and player based economy. I absolutely love it so far.

4. I'm a loyal blizz gamer

Have been since I discovered Starcraft shortly after Brood War came out.

However, I was in a love/hate relationship with warcraft III. The actual melee game had great potential, but they refused to balance it so as to increase different varieties of strategy. Actually it's possible that the whole game is simply flawed because there are no hard counters.

On the other hand I LOVED the custom map scene. So much power... I never actually finished a map but I spent lots of time with mappers and mapping, and enjoyed it greatly.

But now my computer is fried. It's not really good for gaming. I have to get a new one, and then to play WoW effectively I would have to get a broadband connection, which would mean I would have to get a job... :crazy:

Maybe in 6 months or so.
